Dr. Lawrence retired on 1 February 2014 from the U.S. Navy with over 20 years of service. He is residency trained and board certified in pharmacotherapy. He was hand-picked to lead the DoD Defense Health Agency’s Pharmacoeconomic Center. In that position, he was in charge of managing and delivering $7.6 billion of pharmaceuticals per year to over 9.6 million beneficiaries. Dr. Lawrence currently provides professional and consulting services to clients doing business with DoD.
Dr. Briggs has over 10 years of Federal Service experience between the VA and DoD. He served as the Pharmaceutical Industry Liaison for over 5 years at the DoD Pharmacoeconomic Branch. He also served as the co-chair of the Federal Pharmacy Executive Steering Committee Contracting Subcommittee on National Contracts. Strategically minded and an astute student of business he systematically built multiple applications for standardizing databases to be able to synthesize data in reliable ways. He was a member of the DoD Pharmacy Informatics Technology Advisory Committee for 6 years and has vast experience with pharmacy automation and robotics.
Dr. Young was commissioned as a Naval Officer and served 20 years under various assignments in ambulatory clinics and in critical care settings before moving into the Informatics arena. He was both a project and program manager and during his last assignment was directly responsible for all of the clinical and business systems used by Navy Medicine Worldwide. Marc also served as the Chief Operating Officer for TelePharm, a digital healthcare company providing software to retail pharmacies in the U.S.
